01Who we are
The controller of the personal data collected through this website is MF Technology Solutions, based in Maputo, Mozambique.

We process personal data in line with the data protection law that applies in Mozambique and, where it applies, the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
02What data we process and why
Quote requests
When you fill in the quote request form, we collect your name, email, the service you’re interested in and your message and, if you provide them, your company name and phone number. We use this data to reply to your request, prepare a proposal and send you an email confirming we received it.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
Direct contact
If you email us, call us or send us a WhatsApp message, we use the data you share to reply to you. Messages sent through WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us and, where relevant, steps before entering into a contract.
Visit statistics (only with your consent)
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to learn which pages are visited, how visitors reach the site (for example, from a Google search), the type of device and browser, the approximate location (country and city) and some actions, such as clicks on our contact details and quote requests sent. Google Analytics doesn’t store IP addresses. We use this data in aggregate, to improve the site and our services, and never for advertising.
If you decline, Google Analytics doesn’t use cookies or identifiers. Google may only receive cookieless signals (for example, that a page was viewed and what your cookie choice was), which it uses for aggregate estimates.
Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Spam protection
The quote request form uses Google reCAPTCHA to tell people apart from automated programs. To do this, Google receives technical data such as your IP address, browser information and how you interact with the form.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the form from spam and abuse.
Running and securing the site
As with any website, the server automatically logs technical data about each visit, such as the IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser. These logs keep the site running and secure, and are kept only for a short period.
When you make a cookie choice, we keep a record of it with a random code, the date and the options chosen, without your name or IP address, so that we can demonstrate consent.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure, and compliance with our legal obligations.
03Cookies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. This site only uses:
- essential cookies, which the site needs to work and which are always on;
- analytics cookies, which are only used if you accept them.
We don’t use advertising cookies.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time under Cookie settings, which is also in the footer of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
04Who we share data with
We don’t sell or rent your personal data. We only share it with service providers that help us operate and that process it on our behalf:
- Website hosting: the provider of the servers where the site and quote requests are stored;
- Email: the service that sends and receives our email;
- Google: Google Analytics (only with your consent) and Google reCAPTCHA.
We may also have to disclose data to the authorities when the law requires it.
05International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside Mozambique and the European Union: the website’s servers are in Singapore, and Google may process data in the United States and other countries. We choose providers that offer appropriate data protection safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and, for Google, its participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

After these periods, the data is deleted or anonymised.
07Your rights
At any time, you can:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to erase your data when it’s no longer needed or when you withdraw consent;
- ask us to restrict processing, or object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- receive the data you gave us in a commonly used digital format (portability);
- withdraw your consent to analytics cookies, without affecting processing carried out before that.
To exercise these rights, write to info@mftechnology.solutions. We reply within one month. If needed, we may ask you to confirm your identity.
If you believe your data isn’t being handled properly, you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country. In Portugal, this is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt).
08Security
We protect data with appropriate technical and organisational measures: the site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to the administration area is restricted and protected, software is kept up to date, and regular backups are made. No system is completely free of risk, but we work to reduce it. If a data breach occurs that warrants it, we will inform the people affected and the competent authorities, as the law requires.
09Children
Our services are intended for businesses and professionals. This site isn’t aimed at anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you know that a minor has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site, our services or the law. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page. If the changes affect the cookies we use, we will ask for your choice again.
