How MF Technology Solutions handles the data of people who visit this site or contact us, and how to exercise your rights.

Who we are
The controller of the personal data collected through this website is MF Technology Solutions, based in Maputo, Mozambique.

We process data under the data protection law that applies in Mozambique and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What data we process and why
Requests
When you send a request we collect your name, company (if given), email, phone, preferred contact method, the solution you chose, your answers and your message. While the request is open we also keep our replies, proposals and any files exchanged. We use this to reply, arrange the call or demo, prepare the proposal and, if you accept it, carry out the project. The page to follow your request only opens with the private link we email you.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract and, once you accept the proposal, performing the contract.
Direct contact
If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we process what you share in order to reply. WhatsApp messages are also subject to WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
Spam protection
The form uses a check that runs in your own browser (ALTCHA), with no third-party service, and a hidden field only bots fill in. To limit the number of requests, the server keeps the IP address in memory for 10 minutes, without linking it to the request.
Running and securing the site
Like any website, the server logs technical data for each visit (IP address, date and time, page requested and browser) to keep the site running and secure. These logs are kept for a short period.
Cookies
This site uses no analytics or advertising cookies, and sets no cookies for visitors. The only exception is the team area, which uses a session cookie for staff who sign in.
Who we share data with
We never sell or rent personal data. The website, requests and email run on servers managed by MF Technology and rented from a hosting provider, which processes data on our behalf. We may have to disclose data to the authorities when the law requires it.
How long we keep data
- Requests and contacts that don’t lead to a contract: up to 24 months after the last contact.
- Customer data: for the business relationship and then for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Server logs: a short period.
- Backups: replaced daily, kept for at most 14 days.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data and a copy, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and receive the data you gave us in a common digital format.
Write to info@mftechnology.solutions. We reply within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Security
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to the team area is restricted, software is kept up to date and backups run daily. If a data breach warrants it, we will inform the people affected and the authorities, as the law requires.
Children
Our services are for businesses, professionals and adults. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you know a minor has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site, our services or the law. The date of the last update is at the top of this page.
